Non-profit botanical garden running retail + memberships on Odoo POS, but frontline workflows were fragmented.

Labels were created outside Odoo (spreadsheets & design tools), then printed manually with no POS integration.

Staff toggled between systems for pricing and reprints; during peak seasons there was no direct print path, causing time loss and inconsistent price display.

Hardware and software weren’t connected—POS worked, but the physical environment (printers/scales) wasn’t integrated.

Enabled hardware-native POS flows in Odoo—aligning digital records with the in-store experience.

Direct Print Setup: Implemented Odoo’s Direct Print connector for true click-and-print labels from POS/Inventory; integrated existing label printer; eliminated PDF downloads and external tools.

Custom Label Templates: Built 3×5 labels combining brand elements (logo), product/plant data (name, price), and merchandising info (description, care tips).

Operational Fit: Allowed real-time label printing during receiving, restocking, or on-demand at the register; templates designed to scale across categories.

Result: a compact, retail-ready setup that removed bottlenecks and stabilized POS execution.
