Phase 1 / Business SimulatorWeek 1-6


Business Simulator

The purpose of the Business Simulator is to identify and close any gaps between your existing processes and the standard processes contained in our Business Process Library.  We will show you how standard processes can replace the messy custom code that is clogging up your Odoo.  

Each week the gap list gets smaller and smaller as we run your real-world scenarios in Odoo using different flows until we're all happy that your business can run in Odoo.

At the end of Phase 1, we will plan your Phase 2 - Upgrade and customization roll-backs.

During week 2, we’re on-site with you
Your entire team will be engaged in this process, so we can make sure all your needs are met. That’s why we’ll be there for you - like really there, in flesh and bones - to give your project the good start you deserve.
Our Business Process Library contains over 150 processes that work in standard Odoo plus our Silverdale Module Extensions - there's no need for you to spend weeks mapping your existing processes - we've done the hard work for you.

Phase 2 / Implementation / Week 7-12

Getting ready for your upgrade

Every good performance needs some practice.

We're updating settings and configurations and doing many practice runs of your upgrade to ensure we're ready for the big day.  The more we test, the more confident we are that there will be no bigs when we're ready to go live.

Customization roll-back

Out with the old, in with the new.

We'll be getting rid of the old and buggy customization that’s affecting your workflow, replacing with standard configurations, or shining it up to make sure you get optimal Odoo performance.  

User training

Involving users at the earliest stages of the upgrade and then throughout the delivery phase is a key part of driving user adoption and long-term success.

After we’ve rolled back the customization and set up your Odoo in the newer version according to the implementation plan, your team will undergo extensive end-user training on all new processes from the upgrade and customization roll-back.

Go-live

Pop the champagne, and bring out the caviar!

Now you're back to standard and better than ever.  

Once you've gone live with your upgraded and improved Odoo, you will have priority access to our support team and senior architects.  

Any questions, or any problems you have, we’ll be there, ready and waiting. Things can and do break, no matter how much we prepare for every scenario.

Phase 3 /  Week 12+

Customization

Now that you have an Odoo foundation that is running smoothly, it is time to start looking at how to improve what you've got.

Sometimes, standard isn't enough, but it’s more than slapping some custom code to your Odoo. We make sure it’s stable and future-proof. You've experienced bad customizations, and we want to avoid the trap of over-customizing your system again.  We'll work with you to make sure your customizations are clean and able to grow with your database and company.
