This feature streamlines email communication by removing unnecessary notifications for sales team members, ensuring they are not overwhelmed with auto-generated emails. It enhances user experience by focusing on critical communications while disabling auto-subscribe email functionality in specific scenarios.

Functionality:

  1. Disabled Auto-Subscribe Emails:
    • Prevents automated email notifications to sales team members when:
      • A sales order is created.
      • An invoice is generated.
      • The salesperson assigned to a sales order or invoice is changed.
  2. Applicable Scenarios:
    1. Sales Order Creation: No notification emails are sent to the assigned salesperson upon creating a sales order.
    2. Invoice Creation: No notification emails are sent to the assigned salesperson when a new invoice is generated.
    3. Salesperson Change: Auto-subscribe emails notifying a change in the assigned salesperson are disabled.
  3. Impact on Sales Team Workflow:
    1. Sales team members can focus on essential tasks without being distracted by non-critical notifications.
    2. Communication is limited to manual or intentional updates, reducing inbox clutter.

Key Benefits:

  1. Reduced Notification Overload: Eliminates unnecessary emails, allowing sales team members to focus on critical updates and tasks.
  2. Improved Efficiency: Reduces distractions caused by frequent auto-generated notifications.
  3. Streamlined Communication: Ensures that only intentional or manual updates are sent to the sales team, improving clarity and relevance.
  4. Customizable Workflow: Provides control over email notification settings to align with business needs.

Example Use Case:

A salesperson is assigned to multiple sales orders daily. Without this feature, they would receive a flood of emails for every new sales order, invoice creation, or reassignment. By disabling auto-subscribe emails:

  1. The salesperson no longer receives redundant notifications about routine tasks.
  2. They can instead focus on manually shared updates or direct customer communication.
