The Merge & Sync Deliveries SME streamlines delivery management by allowing users to merge multiple Delivery Orders into one unified Delivery Order. From the Delivery Orders smart button, users can select multiple DOs and execute the MERGE DELIVERY ORDER action.
The system will automatically consolidate all product lines, merge quantities line by line, and update the Source Document field to display all original references (comma separated). Relationships between Sale Orders, Delivery Orders, and the Sale Agreement are fully preserved to avoid any broken traceability.
Once merged, the original DOs are cancelled, and only the cumulative DO remains active. When this DO is validated, the delivered quantities update seamlessly across both the Sale Order lines and Sale Agreement lines (if applicable). Additionally, the Shipping Charge is posted directly to the Sale Agreement (not to individual Sale Orders), ensuring precise invoicing from Sale Agreement (if applicable).
This feature enhances operational efficiency, reduces redundancy, and provides a cleaner, more accurate delivery and invoicing process for agreements with multiple fulfillment steps.
